Manchester trail 5k race/walk course details.
It is an out an back flat rail trail race. No worries about getting lost. No worries about steep hills and plenty of support!
This is a perfect course for the first time 5k’r, trail racer, or an experienced trial race looking to PR. Because it is a trail, it is not USATF certified but is wheel measured. Mid September is PERFECT running weather here in NH. The leaves will be hovering near peak foliage (depending on when they get started) so it should be absolutely beautiful.
It is fairly wide trail that is not too technical, but IS A TRAIL, so there are rocks and sticks to look out for.
Address for the race is
1 Electric Avenue, Manchester
Park at West Side Arena
The course will start at the West Side Ice Arena and follow a nice, smooth paved path on the Piscataquog Trail for @ 1.5 miles. It then turns around so that you can high-5 everyone on the way back!!
While there are no climbs in this run. It is a flat, fast course.
This is fun, trail run with something for everyone. Please come out and join us!
Don’t forget to bring a bag of your unwanted clothing and shoes to support the orphanage! VIM has partnered with Apparel Impact to collect clothing and shoes to benefit the Vision International Missions orphanage. We will have a container to place your clothing and shoes in before and after the race.
